Maureen is the oldest child in her family. She lives in Ndonyo Wasin with her family and 7 other siblings. Her parents do not own any livestock. The little they had died in the drought and they have not been able to replace them. Her father is a school guard.
All of her brothers and sisters attend school at Ndonyo Wasin Primary School. She graduated with 265 marks in her KCPE exams. Her dream is to become a tailor/dressmaker. She received a place at Nanyuki Rural Training Center which is an excellent technical school. We were delighted to be able to look for a sponsor for her.
