MUKTAR was born in October 1995. He started pre-school in 2000 and he joined Muthumwiru primary school in 2002. He graduated in 2009 with marks of 310.
Muktar’s father died in 2006. His mother is sick and lives in Nairobi so Muktar lives with his aging grandmother in Mukutano village near Meru town. Muktar’s family is extremely poor. His grandmother owns a small piece of land and one cow, which is not sufficient to support their basic needs.
Muktar received an admission to Baringo High school in Eldama Ravine, Rift valley province. Muktar likes playing hockey at school and he is a great reader.
